Random Birthday Compilation

Here we go! A special one-off Random Birthday Compilation (c) at Pointless Compilations (c)!

Happy birthday Nico!

01. Catatonia - Mulder and Scully
02. Cheap Trick - Surrender 99
03. Claw Boys Claw - Julie's name (from their come back album Pajama day)
04. De Div - Spetters (recently rediscovered Dutch language new wave)
05. Evan Dando - Knowing me, knowing you (great voice and great choice of song)
06. Gavin Friday - Baltimore whores (from Hal Wilner's Rogue's Gallery: Pirate Ballads, Sea Songs & Chanteys)
07. Go Home Productions - Paranoid rock (another goodie from Mark Vidler)
08. Heather Nova - Higher ground
09. Jimmy Cliff - Many rivers to cross (covered by many "artists" but never better then the original)
10. The Leather Nun - Slow death (classic industrial from Swedens finest. Well almost...)
11. Liam Lynch - My United States of Whatever
12. M/A/R/R/S - Pump up the volume (what can I say: pump up the volume - dance - dance!)
13. Neil Diamond - I'm on to you (fantastic song from his Rick Rubin produced come back album a couple of years ago)
14. Nick Cave - Fire down below (also from Hal Wilner's Rogue's Gallery: Pirate Ballads, Sea Songs & Chanteys)
15. Rush - The temples of Syrinx (incredible drumming)
16. The Ruts - Babylon's burning (great punk rock)
17. The Ruts - Jah war (a band so two-faced they get two tracks on one compilation: great dub reggae this one)
18. Tex & the Horseheads - Oh mother
19. The The - Mrs. Mac (recentish download only release on Matt Johnson's website)
20. Tone Loc vs. Van Halen - Wild thing's crying (exxxtreme mash-up) (mix of Tone Loc's Wild thing and Van Halen's Jamie's crying from which the riff is sampled)
21. U2 - Goldeneye (demo 2)

Brought to you as a digital download because I was too late to snail mail a physical copy out...

This one comes as a downloadable archive instead of the usual Box widget. Get it here.
